Would you like to see some pictures from the Hanford to Bangor Peace Walk as it traveled through Lewis County?  This is on Sunday, July 24th as the group approached Chehalis from the South, traveling on Jackson Highway.

Here are pictures from the evening event at The Matrix in Chehalis on the 24th.   First the walkers are getting their shoes off after 17 plus miles, but as Gilberto told us later, the walk is in our hearts. We don't need to worry about our feet.  We had good soup, bread, punch and company to wind down.

Then folks from Lewis County Fellowship of Reconciliation gathered for a roundtable event to discuss the state of the world and how to address the issue of nuclear weapons and technology.

Finally we had some music.

On Monday, July 25th the peace procession left Chehalis and headed for Centralia and Rochester.

More pictures coming from the Olympia Potluck for the walkers on the 27th!
